Stephen Hicks – Principal
Stephen has practised law since 1991 and been a partner in a small suburban practice, a medium city practice, and a national law firm. This experience has exposed him to a range of industries, clients, problems and solutions.
Outside of work he does ocean swimming, plays hockey, does bushwalking and surfing. As a father of 3 teenagers he runs around all weekend for junior sport, and looks forward to the time when he can resume traveling and his interest in French and Italian.
Anna Dunn – Solicitor
Anna was admitted to practice and joined Lawfield in October 2015. Anna holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Murdoch University. Since joining Lawfield Anna has been involved in a wide range of commercial matters and has appeared in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time with friends in WA’s southwest region, keeping fit and annual family trips to Coral Bay.
Sophie Pember – Solicitor
Sophie graduated in 2015 from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Corporate Finance. Sophie obtained a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law, and was admitted to practice in November 2016. In her time at Lawfield, Sophie has had the role of Administration Assistant and Law Clerk before taking on the roll of Solicitor in November 2017.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys trying out new restaurants and bars with friends, spending time in WA’s southwest region and keeping fit and active
Ben Pike – Solicitor
Ben holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Corporate Finance from the University of Western Australia. Ben has recently completed his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Australian National University. Since joining Lawfield Ben has transitioned from Legal Clerk, to a Law Graduate position and now as Solicitor and has been involved in a wide range of commercial matters.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys keeping fit and active, spending time on the water at Rottnest, annual fishing trips to Northern Western Australia and supporting the West Coast Eagles.
Graham Spencer – Solicitor
Graham graduated in 2016 from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics majoring in International Business Economics. Graham obtained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University and was admitted to practice in August 2017. Graham initially joined Lawfield in September 2014 as an Administrative Assistant, before transitioning into a Graduate role in January 2017, and then Solicitor in August 2017.
Outside of work, Graham enjoys playing in a social beach volleyball team, staying up to date with the latest technology, aerial photography with a drone, and catching up on the latest TV shows.
Sue Nash – Consultant
With a background as a senior litigation lawyer, Sue has practised in a range of jurisdictions and has been involved in resolving and managing a wide range of legal problems at all levels. Her commercial experience includes property law, wills and intestacy and general commercial drafting and advice.
Lawfield employs a team of keen law undergraduate students to undertake the practice’s administrative and clerical tasks.
